I've been doing a frame off restoration on a 71 chevelle conv. The frame needed welding repair just before the rear wheel, and I installed complete floors/braces. I braced the body prior to cutting the floors out. With the body now on the frame, wheel to wheel area is good. But there is a gap between the trunk floor braces and the top of the body mount(on frame) up to 1 1/4 in. both sides. I would appreciate any ideas on how to proceed.
