Hi, I am in the process of putting these on the rear of my 66. I have searched through the archives and all but 1 person have said 'Still working on the parking brake aspect....'.
Has anyone hooked up the parking brake to these (I would like to avoid using the driveshaft mounted ebrake) and gotten them to work?
Thanks!

I never got that far... I had the calipers mounted in front of the axle (switched brackets s-de-to-side), and the cables ran above the lower control arms... There wasn't much clearance (mines almost at stock height in the back), and an extremely lowered car might have interference problems between the cables and the LCAs...
I never got far enough to address the cable issues... The calipers wouldn't clear my aftermarket rally wheels...
I know another guy that turned the calipers upside down to gain cable clearance. He has to turn the calipers upside-down to "bleed" them (using a block of wood between the pads)...

I just mounted the camaro calipers. There is no way they will fit with the parking brake hardware on them. But, as your friend did, if I mount them with the bleeder down it fits like a glove.
It looks like I will be going that route, I mean how often do ya bleed em?
Question, the 4 foot parking brake cable actually fits sorta. I can give it a loop and zip tie it to the axle out of the way. Anyone know an application that has the same style PB cable but is about 2 feet long? or anyone know a good place to get custom cables?
The end that fits into the stock PB harness is about 1 - 2 inches too short though I *Think* I can get that much if I screw with the adjusters.
Thanks!
