I need to replace my the clutch in my 66 SS396. I was gonna go with a centerforce but I have recently heard of some quality control issues with them. Mostly balancing problems. Im only running around 400hp tops. Any recomendations on other clutch brands? Pros-Cons? Thanks

You might consider a Zoom Clutch, I've been running one for over 5 years without a problem, and I drive it like I stole it.

My Centerforce Gold is great for a mild street car but it is over 10 years old. Don't know how the newer ones are.
running a centerforce in my 66 ss396 works great but only have 200 miles on it.

I have had a centerforce dual friction in my 66 since 99. Put on plenty of miles on it with no problems.
