I have some pictures of this system in my Assembly Manual but I´ve never heard of it before.
I didn´t find it in my NPD cataloge. Where can I buy it?
Thanks

I've seen it to. I don't think it was a big seller. I think you could do it your self with used parts off a newer car. I think it also only worked on rear of the car.

Yes of course. The sense of this system is that the cars keeps horizontally even if you have something heavy in your trunk, right?
Are there any adresses where I can buy this system?

I had a 85' olds ninity-eight that had what the call "Load levelers" on it. Basicly it had air shocks on it with a air pump some where under the hood. It had a switch on the lower control arm that would activate the the pump to jack the car back up to a level position. I think it would bleed off preasure some how without a load. It would be cheaper and easier just to add the air shocks to your car.

I just removed the rear leveler assembly from my 65 Elky. It is the level control valve from the rear - next to the upper control arm. The rest of the device is long gone. I'd sell or swap it.

Is it the same valve like for the 72 chevelle?
If yes, how much do you want?

I just cleaned the leveler valve up a bit, so we can actually see what was under the grime and crust of 38 yrs. I took a few digital pics of it from diff.angles. If anyone wants to see the pics, e-mail me at etodd@mindspring.com and I'll send them back to you. I am going on vacation tomorrow for a week - won't be able to respond till next Tues. or so.
I have never seen one on a 65 before, although I knew they existed. I actually bought an L79 non-SS, new in Dec. of 64,it was on order for exactly 30 days. Stock with headers and 8" slicks, it was good for 13.60's at 108 in the traps - still have some timing slips.
