Hello all; I have a question about switching over my single bail master to a double bail master. I bought a new double bail master that fits 67-69 Camaro's with 4 wheel drums. I was told this is the correct application for my 65 Malibu. My question is about the master cylinder piston. Does anyone know if I am going to have to change this and if so what application will I need? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

You should be able to bolt this right onto your Chevelle and then run seperate lines to the front/rear. the Master Cylinder Piston can not be changed, So I don't really know what you are asking about.

Bob; I am talking about the rod from the pedal assembly to the master. Not the piston inside the master. Sorry if I phrased the question the wrong way. I am wondering if I will have to change the rod or alter. Thanks.

On my 64 I made the same conversion. I used the same rod off my 64. I measured the depth of the new to the old master cylinder it was the same.

Okay...now its getting spooky in here. Two TBones, both with 65's and both from Massachusetts!
But getting back to the subject, I need to do the exact same swap on my 65 (Twighlight Zone music plays) and need to know how the 67-69 Camaro master worked for you. Also, when you run the separate lines, what else is needed for plumbing between the master and the 4 slave cylinders?
