I like the appearance of the Vintage condenser assembly, mounting and hose routing, except that it takes away use of the driver's side floor vent. The Classic setup allows use of the driver's side vent, but one condensor hose is practically on top of the battery, and where it passes through the firewall is not very attractive.

My thought is to use the Vintage condenser assembly with rest of the system from Classic.

Question- Has anyone ever used a combination of parts from these two (or other) suppliers to "customize" the installation to get the appearance they want? Thanks for any ideas.

I have the SureFit Vintage Air setup in my '66 and it had no affect on the drivers side floor vent. Mine was a factory air car if that makes any difference so there's no passenger side floor vent (which I'd like to have).

I should have said that it blocks vent on the PASSENGER'S side, not the driver's side. My mistake.
