does any one know if i can put 11 inch power booster instead of the 9 inch on my 65 ss?? :cool:

come on some one has to know if 11inch can replace 9inch booster on 64-65 SS

I say no. Not enough clearence on the fender well. I bought a dual diaphram style PB booster it's a little over 8". I was told it came off a ford per ABC brake wharehouse.

thanks,brob there is about 1 inch more clearance between my 9 inch booster and the inter fender so i thought a 11 inch would work OK.

If you booster is working try it. I had mine rebuilt but would not support the vacuum requirements of the disk brakes. I had it checked out and it was intermittent, probably why I didn’t have rear brakes. I was also out of warranty because of the time that had gone past for the restoration process. So I really don't know if I had to switch to the dual diapharm booster.

brob,i don't have a 11 inch thats Wye I'm asking if a 11 inch will fit before i buy one.
