gang, after having the shop put in classic auto air unit(works great), it seems like i have a lot more squeaking than before in my '66..do you guys live with this or should i be trying to figure out what the deal is?? even the kids are giving me a hard time about it..thanks..

They probably forgot to tighten one or two bolts. I'd get up under there and start looking around. Have someone bounce the car up and down (carefully) while your looking around under the dash. If its not a loose bolt find where the squeak is and put a little grease or WD-40 on the joint. I can't stand squeaks!

yep . its probably a bolt or screw loose up under the dash, i had this for a while ,drove me mad, and when bill burke was over in ireland with me i mentioned it to him . he found it straight away. otherwise turn up the stereo..:D:D

There is not that much under a 66 dash, I would think you could find it. One area that comes to mind is the heater control head and the radio face plate.
