Is there more than one manufacturer of these? I've seen them listed for anywhere from $35 to $80. Just wondering if anybody has any experience with either.

OR, if you know someone/someplace with good prices I can send my originals to get gold cad plated, that would be cool too. I have a plating system but these are too big for my setup.

If you are using the original ss wheels I would replate your original brackets.

These are for the GTO, I'll be using pontiac rallye I wheels which are what came on it originally. (plus redline tires! )

Personally I think the rally Is look better than the IIs on pontiacs. Everybody goes with the IIs tho for some reason.

I dont know about the GTO wheels but if you use the repop brackets some of them will rub against the original 14" wheels. The original ones do not. So I would spend the coin and just get your original ones replated. Try Mickey Hale for replating. (http://haleperformance.com/services/)

Like Brad said. Get the originals plated. The repro's are junk. Micky Hale plated my original caliper brackets. I'd go that route again.

Thanks for the suggestions fellas. What did it cost you having those brackets plated, if you don't mind my asking?

For some reason for what I can remember it was around $70 to have them both done, but that was over 2 years ago. I also had a bunch of other parts done at the same time along with the brackets.

I just remembered after I posted about Steve Gregori, he's in cal so shipping won't cost much, he just quoted me $55 for caliper brackets.

It will run about $50 plus shipping.

Agree with the other comments about the repros scraping the stock 14 inch SS wheels. I ended up buying another original set with the correct part numbers that go on when the other originals need to come off for plating - thus no down time. Micky has done the plating on mine in the past as well.
