Anyone here ever try those trick little things that keep your header bolts from coming loose, like Stage 8 or this new thing that screws down though center of the header bolt that expands it in the hole ????????????

Stage 8 bolts are great I will never put headers on again without them

After I check them a few times after new gaskets, mine seem to stay put. I typically check them every oil change and they are always tight.
Just need to check them several times after the new gaskets are installed.

Guys...I use the Stage 8s as well and they are GREAT. #2 I took a tip from years reading Hot Rod and Car Craft. I soaked the gaskets with water for a bit and then o-ringed the ports with red RTV. It will NOT leak.

Come Spring, I want to try these from Totally Stainless. They have the Nordlock washers.

I have stage 8s on one side and Percy's (with the allen stud through the middle of them) on the other side. Access issues make this the best choice for me. Both work great- none have ever come loose.
