well i was going to wire a push button starter, found the right switch and tumbler picked it up today, plugged it in and all it does when i turn it like im starting the car is click at the wiper motor? now power is going to starter wire( i checked with wife turning key on) my blinkers work and all that hoopla but it wont turn over? any help????

Did you check for 12 volt power under load at both terminals on the neutral safety switch?

The NSS is on top of the steering column near the floor. Purple & purple w/white wires.
Be sure and check voltage under load.

X2 Check the neutral safety switch. Could be as simple as being out of adjustment.

ok i have a hurst shifter but i imagine its still there? i didnt convert it, was like it when i got it.

went out and looked.. only thing i found on column by floor had one green and one pink wire in it.. my purple and white wire from my start switch has been spliced by a red wire that goes into my firewall and goes to nothing right now..???
