This has probably been covered before but I couldn't find anything on it in the posts. I like my 64 Elky and with the big block, 700r4 and 12'' rear with 3.73s it is quite enjoyable except when cruising and I feel like I am herding it down the road with constant corrections to keep it going where I am pointing it.
Is there some way to get a rack & pinion to fit in this vehicle ????? TIA

What type of steering is on it? I converted mine to late model "quick ratio" power steering, had an alignment done (by a perfectionist freak) and I can drive "hands off at 100". Tracks straight as an arrow, and takes effort to not go straight.

Granted this is after a full rebuild of all the front suspension - bushings, steering linkage, etc..
