Will a 2wd Trailblazer SS motor fit into a 68 chevelle the same way a 2006 GTO will?

Thanks
Mike

Not if you're ever going to ever use it hard. I have a '08 Trailblazer SS with 4,500 miles on it. Just had a second trip to the dealer for another trans rebuild! Weak tranny for the motor. The Trailblazer forum will back this up.

one plus is the the chevelle wouldn't be as heavy.

4L70 is better than a 4L60, but still a weak trans. Would probably be alright behind a stock motor, but they still have problems.

if your going through the troube, throw a 4l80 in it, and never look back.
4l60-70's are not worth it, unless its a super light car.

On that note 6L80 if you want a much closer ratio 6 speed.
