I got some pulleys that are pretty rough looking. What is the best way to paint these? Not trying to be "correct" ,I'm worried about belt squeel as well. Anyone done this before?

I sandblast prime and paint like normal, make sure you use a good quality belt and not over tighten. No problems on any I have done in the past.
