Hey all I am about to go to manual brakes from power to open up some space in the motor compartment(motor mysteriously is growing), What other options do I have?? I have heard of hydro boosters, but where is the website?? What should I be careful of?? I know that I have to get a Manual Master Cylinder, and move the pin to the other hole on the pedal, but do i need to get anything else like a different perportioning valve?? Bake to the hydro booster topic, how well do these work and how big are they cause i need as much room as I can get right now.

As far as other options you can get an 8" booster and still have the power brakes. You can even get a dual diaphram if you have low vacuum or use an electric vacuum pump from an early 80's X-body GM car like the Citation (420 from a scrap yard and gives 18" vacuum)
