I have a 66 with a 350 with holley commander 950 FI system and I am using a serpentine system off an older camaro so I went to autozone to get an alt. for I think an 88 camaro it is 105 amp output worked for about a month....is this just bad luck with a bad part or do I need something elsE?

How many alternators went bad? It could be bad luck, or could be the way you have it wired. Explain exactly how the alternator is wired.

I'm not really sure to be honest....we put a painless harness in it and wired it how the procommander book said so it would work with the computer....this would be the 2nd one gone bad but the first one was like three years old (but didnt run the car for those three years) then I put this one on and its bad now....Ill take a look at how I wired it up and see if I messed anything up
