I got the new edge pieces for my grill and noticed they have that damn silver paint on it, meanwhile my grill is blacked out. Now my grill has some years on it and could use a fresh coat of black, especially since I need to paint the corners I figured I will do it all. Does anyone know of the most correct color / brand paint to use and also the best method? Thanks

Ken, I can't say how "correct" it is but SEM "Trim Black" is probably one of the best solutions out there. I used it on my grille (as have many others here). It applies & covers beautifully and is meant to bond to plastic. Available in aerosol cans from a parts store or body supply.
Good luck,
Tom

Thanks Tom for the info, I went right to autozone and piked up the paint. I sprayed everything with the black trim paint and it looks awsome...doing the silver tomorrow :)
