Yes you need outer ends. You didn't post the year of your car. If the adjusting sleeve has the small threads use an outer end from a G body, if it is the large diameter thread use the one from an F body. You also need an upper ball joint from an F or G body. It should bolt right on to your upper arm.

Steve,
This is what you need.
68-70 A-body inner tie rod end: ES681N
78-88 G-body outer tie rod end: ES2033RL
sleeve: ES2032S
The tie rod sleeve is the same for the 68-70 A-body and 78-88 G-body.

Here is the thead (http://www.chevelles.com/forum/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=7;t=007295;p=1) where this info came from(page 2).

Are you doing the steering box change also?

Good luck graemlins/thumbsup.gif

It's a 67 sorry about that. Is there a need to change the steering box? I have a disc brake set that will bolt right on. since I'm wanting everything just wright, I was rolling the thought of tall spindles in my head. I like the idea of the handling ,bigger rotors etc.... just tring to see what all is involed and what all parts are needed. I've read alot in the archives but can't seem to find a complete list of parts .once again Thanks for the help smile.gif

Steve;

I have a word document with every part listed and the part numbers for the important ones. I'm just missing part numbers for some of the little things. Get me an e-mail and I'll send it to you.

I bought a set of 12" spindles from this guy http://www.scarebird.com/4436.html on ebay for $85.00. He has the spindles machined so you can use stock Chevelle pieces. I don't see any on his website but contact him for more info. I've had mine for a while now and they are great. He even sent me the spindles with the larger inner bearing. Good luck, Marc graemlins/hurray.gif
