I recently bought a 1968 Councours..The "luxury" model of chevelles. It was blue with a white vinyl top and white interior. I am running a Lunati Voodoo 60103 cam. The duration at .50 is 227/233 with under a 500 lift. I'm pulling a leaky turbo 350 and putting in a Muncie 4-speed  I'm switching out my old milled 882's and putting on some double humps. I'm wondering what would be a good intake/carb setup. I have a performer intake with a holly double pumper spread bore- "I dont like it". I was thinking a Edelbrock TM1 intake? And maybe a Holley 750 square bore? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! The use: street cruiser thats not afraid to lay a little rubber and blow some imports off the road.

A 600 CFM carburetor should be enough and will drive better than a 750.
What rear end ratio are you running? 3.55 or 3.70 would be a good start.

Double pumper will work better with the manual transmission than the auto.
Performer intake is a pretty good intake.
Maybe you need a good tune up including timing.
I have a 650 dp spreadbore holley that I used to run in my 67's 454 when it was more stock.
Ran like a scalded dog.
Really need more info from you on what you have and what's been done to it.
What size engine? what condition?
lots of variables can't really give a generic answer to with what you've posted.

Its a 350 bored 30 over. Speed Pro flat top pistons. I'm HOPING with the double humps it should be around 10-1 compression. Around 1,000 miles on the rebuild. I rebuilt it and put it in a chevy short-wide before finding my dream car (68 chevelle) and transplanting the engine/tranny. Right Now I'm running a 650 double pumper. I cant remember the jets off the top of my head?

:thumbsup:you should keep the intake and carb you have now as the 4-speed will work better with all of the items.
