'67 chevelle with a 12 bolt possi. I have a drip on the front of the rear end where my drive shaft enters. Can I get just a pinion seal for that and if so, how hard wood it be to change? Any help would be great!

I changed the pinion seal on my 70 Chevelle in an afternoon. Some may say you have to be real careful to put the large pinion nut EXACTLY back on the same number of threads.

I marked the drive shaft to the yoke (paint dab), and counted the threads showing. I also punched a dimple on the side of the nut (sharp punch).

Not hard. You have to oil the I.D. of the seal, and spread some permatex around the O.D. of the seal and on the splines of the pinon.
