Having a set of Aluminum 1/2 body height mounts made up, and want to see if anyone else is interested. Includes full set of core support mounts.
Please PM me if you are interested in a set. The more we get on board, the better for everyone.

Sounds good but I have no clearance from TH400 to floorpan due to pinion angle. Might be a choice for those not dropping the suspension too far.

Dan,
It's not too hard to get the machinist to add an extra bit of material to the mounts. :)

call me dumb, but maybe i just don't know, advantages of aluminum over say rubber or poly.? i know it eliminates flex and all, vibration issues a problem with them? i don't know i'm just asking, and 1/2 height would drop the car correct? not just change angles and what not? also if this works for a 66 2dr hard top, i'm might be in depends on the pros vs cons

Coworker made up a set of aluminum body bushings and regrets it for the street. The vibration and road noise are amplified tremendously through the car. Along with the Delalum suspension bushings the car is not the most comfortable to drive more then 20 miles. He said even the steering wheel vibration from all the solid mounts wears on you. So if you do decide to do this be warned of the downfalls of it.
