Hi guys
I am on a tight budget and would like to convert my front drum brakes to disc on my project 1964 Malibu. What vacuum booster and master cylinder will work and from what cars can I get every thing I need to make this conversion? I am told I can use my original spindles, and can buy all the parts I need from any parts store. so I guess what Im asking is what cars would be compatable for this swap.

Thanks alot

Well first off if your on a tight budget you need to figure on spending atleast $3-400 on parts. And that is if you are pretty good with making things work and have the proper tool to do it.

This is a pretty good kit to start with, and you are going to have to rework your factory spindles, and also get a disc/drum master cylinder and porportioning valve for the discs.

The brake parts to rob are up to 72 Chevelles, Monte's, Camaro's, Nova's etc... I think the parts on the Nova's are good up to 74' I think.
