I bought a set of front brake lines for my car that had the passenger side brake line come from the crossmember over to the firewall, up the frame and then to the bracket that holds the hard and flexline together. My old brake line just came over the frame and straight to the bracket. I ordered the correct application for the car with drum brakes.
My question is would this new line with about 3ft extra line be a problem? nothing is in the area so it wont get cut or pinched at all. It just looks odd having all that line on it. By the way this is just on the passenger side near the header.

The length of the line will have no effect on the functionality of the brake system. Just a matter of it being correct for the car and looking good to you and what not. Aesthetics, really.
