rumor has it there is a company out there making pads and shoes that make no dust what so ever?? anyone help me here with a company name or if someone has used these. I have always stuck to bestos brakes but hey no dust on my polished wheels would be awesome

Raybestos makes ceramic pads that work pretty well, are very quiet, and make very little dust.

As brakes work off friction, something has to wear-- thus there will never be a no-dust pad. However, you can minimize dusting, and the ceramic pads work pretty darn well. You'll still have to clean your wheels, just not as often.

thanx for the help. I just bought a set of ceramic ray bestos pads but I havent installed them yet and a friend was just talking to me about these dustless pads... sure wish he could remember the name of the pad
