A 73 yr old family friend has a 66 Elco he bought new. 327 4 bbl. No pics yet. I haven't even seen it yet. Automatic. Never wrecked. California car. Under car port with a cover on it. He said it needs interior. He said he'll sell it to me. I know it's tough but can the Elco experts give me a ballpark starting area? It hasn't been driven in 10+ years. I need a little guidance.
Thanks
Randy

I'd go for $2,000. to $3,000. depending on everything in the picture - floors, body damage, engine, chrome, trim, glass, etc. - originality of engine, trans, etc.

Which model, standard or Custom? The standard model has rubber floor mats, the Custom model has carpet and more bright trim. The rubber floor mat models usually have rustier floors. Bench seat or buckets? I would price the standard model on the low side of what Ed said and go a little higher if a solid Custom model with some good options like bucket seats, air conditioning, power steering and brakes. The 4 barrel 327 is a good option. I'd like to see all the original A.I.R. (smog pump) equipment on this engine, also, since it is an original California car, and assuming it was built at the Fremont assembly plant.
