Right now i have 14 X 7 rally wheels on my 68.
Summit sells the 5 spoke painted ss style wheel in a 15 x 10.
? tried to measure to see if the would fit and it seemed like it might be a little tight.
I would like to but on the five spoke painted wheels on but i want a bigger and wider wheel in the back.
Has anyone had this size in the rear and if so how did/does it work?
Or if this will be too big what size would be the best fit but is also bigger?

15X10 will fit with 5.5" backspacing, and you are correct it is a bit tight. Most go with the 15X8 with 4.5 backspacing and a 275/60-15 tire.

we went with a 26x12.5" tire

My 15x10's with 5.5 bs fit perfectly. To me it's the best size wheel to use. Quite a bit of room on the inside and outside is about perfect. 295/50/15 tires looks killer!

Here is a photo of a 15X8"wheel on the left with a 275/60-15 and a 15X10 with 5.5 BS and 28X12" MT Sportsman radials on the right.

The 15X10's fit just fine although I did have to bend the inner wheel well a little on the drivers side just to be on the safe side.

There are some pictures in my sig of my 69 with 15x10s, 5.5 bs, and 295/50's. Fit no problem with a rolled lip.

Just got my 15X10 5.5BS on my stock 70. 12" tire no rolled lip no clearance issues. Perfect fit can't go in any farther and the outside is pretty good.
