Hey there guys I'm new to this site and I have a very important question for anybody that can help, I have a 1966 Malibu and I need to replace the floors, braces and body mounts. My question is can I cut out the floors and braces and start replacing the braces, mounts and the floors without taking the body off the frame ? I don't have the money to have this done in a shop and I don’t a rotisserie. I would like to be able to do this myself with hopes of not wreaking it. any advice is a great help! Thanks.

Welcome Cory. You could get the floor done on the frame. (not easy) but the supports pass between the body and the frame and attach over top of the frame. You could do as others have done. Raise the body and support it on 4x4's and blocks. Then roll the frame out of the way. The only down fall to this is that you will be doing some of the work on your back.
Check out these pix. I had the body on a rotisserie but it will give you an idea on whats involved in replacing the floor and braces. Fortunately I only needed to replace one..
