All,

Would this type rear control arm be correct for a 1969 Chevelle SS 396/325hp?

Also was wondering why anyone would cut the metal fuel supply line AND the return line (as seen in the next couple of pics) and how hard is it to replace the whole line with a metal one? Oh, and where is a good place to purchase one?

The control arm is correct. The, believe it's called a ladder bar, at the bottom is not stock.

Either the original lines were damaged or rusted and the owner didn't want to bother with replacing the whole line. Inline Tube is one supplier of quality replacement lines. Google them, you can order direct from them. I haven't done it, it's not what you would consider easy from what I hear but a lot of guys have done it.

You won't be replacing those fuel lines without lifting the body off the frame.
