I'm good with the grounding considerations but other questions are:
1. What about the alternator wire? Straight from the alternator 15'-20' back, directly to the battery connected as it is now? 8 ga/6 ga wire?
2. Cut off switch? Does this switch ONLY splice into the + side cable (I'm using 1/0 cable). Is that the only wire into that cut off or does the alternator go into that as well?
3. Solenoid? I've heard using a remote solenoid (Ford type) in the trunk to help with cut off switches, heat, etc. How's that wired? Would I wire a 1/0 cable through the cut off then to the remote solenoid?
I.e....BAT--CUTOFF--SOL--STARTER? ....Same 1/0 cable?
3. Fuses? I've heard of fuses being used inline in case of an issue in the years downstream. How's that working?

Basically, is there a schematic somewhere? Maybe a web page? I found some but nothing complete. Your answers would help a bunch. Thanks!
