Gleaned this one of a guy that does several $100,000 restorations a year.
Instead of lithium grease, or the lube that comes with poly bushings, he uses anti-seize. Just regular old anti-seize.
Lubes just as well, but NEVER WASHES OFF IN THE RAIN.
I live in Portland, OR, and if you don't drive your car in the rain, or at least on wet roads, every once in a while, you might as well just leave your car in the garage and stack boxes on it.
I know what some of you are thinking, "what about the manufacturer's warranty"... Anti-sieze wouldn't break down the poly in any way, or attract dust any more than lithium grease.
I think it's genius.
What do you guys think?
