Gleaned this one of a guy that does several $100,000 restorations a year.

Instead of lithium grease, or the lube that comes with poly bushings, he uses anti-seize. Just regular old anti-seize.

Lubes just as well, but NEVER WASHES OFF IN THE RAIN.
I live in Portland, OR, and if you don't drive your car in the rain, or at least on wet roads, every once in a while, you might as well just leave your car in the garage and stack boxes on it.

I know what some of you are thinking, "what about the manufacturer's warranty"... Anti-sieze wouldn't break down the poly in any way, or attract dust any more than lithium grease.

I think it's genius.

What do you guys think?

Sounds like a good idea. Might try it on the sway bar bushings (no poly in my control arms).
My Dakota has DJM arms and they have a neat take on the poly squeak issue. See here: http://www.djmsuspension.com/products/control%20arms.html
They use a twin tube sleeves (down the page some) and it really works, no squeaks at all and the arms move freely. Should be possible to do this with the poly bushings for our cars.
