70 SS 454. Guages work, and clock will work until it gets to the bottom half of the circle. anyways, whenever i pull on the park lights and or headlights, the fuel guage goes to empty and the temp guage pegs out to hot side.

oh yeah, the oil light is stayin on and the high beam indicator is on when low beams are on.. hahaha, i think whoever did this thing did it backa$$wards..

Poor dash grounds!!! The inst cluster is powered by several circuits (inst fuse, gauges fuse, ts fuse and headlights{for the high beam indiacator}) and the all share grounds. When the ground is poor or disconnected, one circuit will try to ground through other circuits that are not on. Check the dash grounds, make sure thet are clean and tight to bare metal.
