I was re-installing the centerlink and tie-rod assembly last nite and the stud on the right tie-rod end spins and will not allow the nut to be tighten.

I am assuming it will need to be replaced.

Not unusual. Take a large set of channel locks and clamp down on top the backside of the tie rod to the other side of the center link. Once you get the tapered shaft into the center link start tightening.

It should snug up. Now once you torque it down you should not see any slop. If you see slop, then it's worn out.
