who makes chevelle lowering springs? and how much do they run? I just bought 1970 chevelle.
When i lowered my s-10 with spindle and blocks the blocks were angled so the driveshaft was in the right position. How do you correct this with coil springs in back? transmission shim??

Does anyone make after-market sway bars? A guy i work with has a 7/8 rear sway that he said will work on my setup. I have a 1 1/4" and 1" sway bars on my s-10 and they are amazing!!

On my 67,I am using Hotchkis 1in. lowered springs in the front with 2in. drop spindles. The car is not fully assembled yet. So no pics. How it sits now. I can tell its going to look just right. The place with the spindles is www.mcgaughys.com (http://www.mcgaughys.com)

Is there a reason you went with dropped spindles instead of, say, 3" drop springs?
I believe OPG sells 3" drop springs (or someone does, I'll have to pull my catalogs..)

I have a front 1 1/4" sway bar & a rear 7/8" bar and it seems to be a good combo for me. I don't notice much under or oversteer. Car handles great, and haven't even put in my hotchkis 1" lowering springs.

A 7/8 inch bar was standard on a '70 I believe so that one won't provide an improvement unless you don't have one at all.

Minimum, the front bar should be a 1-1/8" unit and a 1-1/4" unit will be better, especially if you have a big block engine. They are not that expensive and are available from any number of sources.

Dropping 3" just with springs seems severe. I just switched to Hotchkis 1" lowering springs with a 1-3/8" front and 1" rear sway bar and love the results.
