There is a market for any Chevelle. Oshawa built over 10,000 in 1969 for sale in the United States market, part of a Fair Trade agreement that was made back in the 1960s.
Most folks would not have any idea where a particular Chevelle was made, unless they checked the "cowl tag" or knew that a 1 in the V.I.N. signified Oshawa Canada as the plant.
Nice thing for the collector is that you can get GM build documentation for your Canadian built Chevelle, but not for U.S. built cars.

I'm keeping mine!
Although I'm taking the original engine & trans out to replace them with Big Block power.
Don't expect much of a 'kick' to the price over a similar U.S.A. built Malibu hardtop. Just not that much interest in the individuality of it being "Canadian"
Guy I bought mine from had no clue that it was anything unusual or that it was made in Canada.
I think it's great, and that's all that matters!

have a 72 Monte carlo that was built at that Canadian plant - Oshawa. Kind of an interesting car, is low option, no vinyl top, or air conditioning, seems to have made it's way from Cleveland OH to southern NM and El paso TX somehow. TX title has a guys name in a Cleveland suburbs name on it.
