Where would be a good place to buy a good quality dash pad? I've a couple of post before where certain company's dash pads were poor quality. I'm not looking to recover mine, or use a dash cap. Just a new one all together. Thank you. Jay

What year car do you have? I have heard the 70-72 fit is awful but other years are better. For an honest opinion I would call James Hinshaw. My 69 needs a new dash pad but I am waiting until he says they are better quality and worth the money.

I bought two for my 68. The one I got from the first supplier would not fit well at all, lines up poorly. I decided not to use it, infact it's still out on a shelf in the shop. I called year one and explained the problem from the first vendor. They looked up to see how many they sold and if there were any returns, there weren't. They assured me it would fit well. When it arrived I was very happy to see how perfectly it fit. Got it installed in just a few minutes with no adjustments.

Jay try the forsale section here or Ebay. I have a 70 but got my pad off there and then redyed it. I have to say it look great.

Thanks for the heads up. Just curious though, what did you use to fasten the dash pad, the original nuts or what? Thanks again.

What manufacturer made the pad that worked?

I used the nuts that held the original one. Didn't have to elongate the holes or even curse at all:)
Don't remember the manufacturer at the moment but I think I used the box it came in to store the lousy one.(which is free to whoever comes and gets it) I will check the garage tonight but I am 100% I got it through year one.
