I have a 1969 Chevelle SS with a bbc and a muncie 4 speed. I have been told that upgrading the front and rear end bushings from rubber to polyurithane helps this alot. I am also going to buy a set of SSM Lift Bars as i have been told that they are the best for this. What have you used, what works? If i upgrade my bushings, where is a good place to get them?

One of the first things to do to eliminate wheel hop is to lower the rear of the body. Any time you raise the rear, it changes the angles on the control arms and increases wheel hop. Firmer bushings, lowering the rear of the car and raising the pivot on the rear of the upper control arms will cut down on wheel hop.
