so i have a 1967 chevelle with a th350 and 350( i know, not stock, not my decision), and i want to transform it over to manual. on this site, http://www.ss396.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=chevellecamino&Category_Code=4SPEEDCONVERSION
i get the conversion kit. now for 1000 dollars i can get a rebuild m21 transmission with 2000 miles on it, so is what was said, and it comes with the clutch disk, pressure plate, and flywheel. now, i think i would then need the shifter kit, and bellhousing.... now is that everything? thanks!!!

or i could get a super t10 tranny out of a 81 trans am. comes with new Hurst Comp Plus shifter, bellhousing, and clutch and flywheel. all for $1000

what would be the best one? thanks

Get a billet flywheel. Maybe that's what it comes with. Also make sure the clutch and flywheel you get match up and work together.

If you plan to run it hard ever, or any track time, I'd get a scattershield.

You might want to state the intended use of the car. Daily driver? Street/strip? etc.

If possible I'd piece together all the required stuff with good ole original GM stuff (minus the muncie shifter)....Hopefully I'm wrong on the quality of the re pop parts.....nah.....slaps self....what was I thinking.
