OK, It seems to me that rather than figure this out for myself, I will ask if anyone elses has already done it.

I have a 67' and I am up to buying new wheels and tires. I want to go with Crager type 61 SS wheels fornt and rear. My local tire store (Les Schwab) tells me that I can put 15x8 up front with a 255x60x15 tire, and 15x10 on back wtih a 295x50x15 tire, and it will all fit and clear.

Is this true? Has anyone in here done this?

If anyone has any input at all as far as wheel and tire sizes that are a good fit for the car, please chime in.
