: Coil Spring Isolators?

Hi, Has anyone used the polyurethane coil spring isolators on the rear springs? Do they squeak? I have not taken the springs out yet (getting the Hotchkis TVS kit and wanting to replace the isolators. Also the Bilstein shocks. Any thoughts about this kit/shock combo?) Are the isolators only on the top of the spring? Also changing the front springs to support a 454. What about the front isolators(are there any)? The A-arms have new rubber or polyurethane (can not tell which is which). Just getting into this car. Originally a 70 Malibu conv. that has been SS cloned. Thanks JD

Isolators go on the top of the rear spring only. None for the front springs.

The only benifit to poly isolators I guess would be durability. I still have the original rubber ones on my Chevelle, though, so unless they are cheap, I wouldn't bother with them. No idea if they'd squeek or not.
