I have a 66 Chevelle with a 396, non matching numbers. The # on the left rear of block reads 3955272 and the # on the right front reads T0709YS. The last Car Craft magazine says the # on the back of the block shows it is a 69 396 or 402. The # on the front of the engine is supposed to tell if it is a 396 or 402ci. Can these #'s tell me what HP the engine is. It also has a holley cast iron intake manifold. Any help to find out what I have would be very much appreciated!! Thank You! Ed Althouse

Chevelles.com Engine code finder says that this is a '69 396 Chev Truck 310hp 4bbl manual trans engine.
