Thats great, sounds like its going to be a pretty hot engine! This is going to be a budget build right? How much you think you can do it for? Your going to sell it or find a car for it after its done?

Yes this is a budget motor meaning that all parts will be either used or killer deals like these pistons. I will hang onto the motor and find a car to install it it to do some racing with. I just need to wait for a year or so until work picks back up. Right now I will just buy parts when I have extra money.

Might want to be careful. I didn't use my trw's because of the problems with fitting a big cam in them. I'm sure you find a fat and lazy cam that would fit, or just for insurance have them flycut. JMHO

Those big pistons will take much more cam than those 11-1's you had. I checked the 12 1/2 -1 TRW's I have in a 427 on the stand against the .680 lifts solid roller out of Jim's motor and had well over .125 clearance.
