I'm on a couple of boards that edit this out as well.
To some it may seem a bit overboard----to me---it is on the edge.
But I also tend to agree with the profanity rules (and associated acronyms).

I'm no angel by any means, and am also guilty of slipping in few cuss words occaisionally-------but I try to stay far away from what the mainstream would consider profane.

I agree, I would not like to see the F bomb on here either, it has no place here. I guess I do normally talk like that at work, not in public but maybe it was "What The Frick" or who knows what. This is why people use those three letters, so they don't use the F word. Ya know, like saying poop instead of sh**. I thought I was watching my language, guess I thought wrong, no biggy. Love the board and the people!

The thing is that no matter how profane words are disguised, when it's read the real word is what comes into the mind.

Some people here seem to think it's cool to use different characters to get around the program's "auto edit out" and it's really not cool at all :noway:
I guess maybe they just can't talk without cussing at least doing that certainly leaves that impression on others.
Seems to me that a lot of the younger generation can't even hold a decent conversation without using the "F" word in every sentence.
