Hi Timo, I see it's warm in Helsinki (at least it gets above freezing in the day time).:)

I haven't used the trick flow injectors. What are you using them on? I have used FAST injectors, they have worked fine, but some matching of injectors helped idle smoothness.

I think they are standard motor products injectors. I've done some testing with that brand and seem to be a decent injector.

I have a set of Ford (Bosch) 42 lbs/hr injectors for sale if you're interested. They didn't like the heat in my engine compartment but if you have lower temps than I do they will work fine. $100 takes all 8.

Zwede,

I was looking at those myself. Could you explain what happened in your situation?

Cramped (Corvette) engine compartment, big block, no airflow (electric fans only came on over 210F). Injectors would start leaking after heat soak. I noticed the fuel pressure dropped to zero within a minute after shutoff. When it did that the engine would run like crap, missing and rough. Would clean up under acceleration.

I've been doing body work on the car for a while now and the hood has been off. That lowered temps enough to clean the injectors and now it holds pressure for days. The missing is gone.

I have a set of Delphi injectors to try. I'm also going to wire the electric fans to run at half speed any time the engine is running.

Thanks Zwede. Makes you wonder if any injector will act-up in your engine compartment's environment. Maybe these injectors were designed to work in a composite-type intake that doesnt transmit so much heat?

Anybody have a suggestion(s) for good injectors for reasonable $$$?

Just as a side note, there are very few injector manufacturers. FAST, TwickFlow, Holley, Accel, etc...do NOT make injectors. Injectors are made by Bosch, Delphi, Megneti Marelli, Siemens, and a few other manufacturers I can't think of now ...LOL

Alot of injectors are still installed in alloy enviornments, basically ANY import engine has them in an alloy head or intake.

I prefer the bosch brand injectors. I'm pretty sure the trick flow are made by bosch.
