I want to lower my 70 chevelle what is a good priced spring to get ,I'm thinking about 1"-1.500"
of a drop, i will also install shocks , can i still use stock type shocks or will have to go with a drop shock?? i wanted to get KYB shocks
as far as who should i stay away from

Robert, OPG has nicely priced drop springs for the front and rear.

Robert if your interested in hotchkis drop springs I can give you a good price on a set of them.

I have the Hotchkis 1" drop springs in front and "cargo coil" springs in back. You can check stance in sig below. I also have standard KYBs and am very happy with the set up.

I have the 2" drop springs from OPG.

2" drop springs from OPG in front, original springs in back.
