On 67 models, there is the forward cable assembly that attaches to the foot pedal, then attaches to the intermediate cable which equalizes the pressure to the rear cables. My factory assembly manual shows a total of 3 s hooks on the intermediate cable, one on the passenger side across the tranny, then one on each side towards the back of car, is this correct? That is correct. It's a bigger hook that attches to the tranny crossmember and too small hooks )like coathanger diameter, a few inces long) that hook into the floor supports.
