65-72 Chevelle, Cutlass, GTO, lemans, F-85, 442, SS, Skylark, All 65-72 A bodies.. 65-67 rears are 5/8 of an inch shorter on each side than the 68-72 rears.

Im confused now ? I thought 68-72 where leaf spring setups..... Or are u just refering to axle length ? Are the skylarks and lemans coil spring set ups .. Are there any newer model cars 80's 90's cars that are direct bolt in rears with the 64-67 chevelles ? Thanks for the input guyz !

67's are a one off year.

All 64-72 A bodies use coil springs

68-72's A bodies are an inch wider but will bolt in.

65/66's are the same width but use a different design coil spring mount. Swap to 66 springs.

Novas and camaros used Leafs. The only rears that will bolt right in are 64-72 A body rears.
