How well do the goodmark repros fit?
Also any way to tell original from goodmark's repros?
I saw some older posts idenifying originals but none of the pics display.
Thanks,

Goodmark should feel lighter. Very flimsy. Mine fit like crap. I paid 3 or 4 hundred bucks for crap. Whats funny is the guy who sold it swore that the fit was excellent (CAUTION buyers beware). I sold it fot $100 and found a decent original ss hood. Anything not made in North America or above the Mediterainian sea usualy is crap. Chinese dont care they say "ching chong ding dong ying yang" (get er dun ur we kill ur famly). The CRAFTMENSHIP hasnt reevolved yet in China. Maybe Obama can pull some strings and make China even richer so we have to buy more crap. So try to find an original. It will cost more but your hair wont turn grey triing to make it fit your car.
Im not an agry person:beers:

I'm not near that angry but definitely go original. Nothing fits like a factory hood.

I had a repro on my 67 Chevelle-- I sold it and bought a factory original. They are very light weight. The metal is cheap. If you get lucky and it fits good then thats not so bad cause once its painted and is on the car no one really knows unless they handle it.
I have an exc original 67 SS hood for sale but Im in Bronx, NY and I cannot ship it. If someone is interested get back to me. Good luck in any case.

I bought a repo.......it fit's like sh&*....bows up along the fenders. I've also got an original I plan on painting and selling the repop. I almost ashamed of my Chevelle with that bowed up "garenteed to fit repop" on it. It always looks like I'm showing it since the hood is always up now.
