I just bought a new agr box and I am trying to decide if I should just buy a new pump from summit that I can bolt in, or wheather to buy the agr pump and have to mess with my old and beat up resovoir? Anyone using a stock pump with this box Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I installed an AGR box last summer and stayed with my old pump. I had planned to replace the pump, but ran out of time before going to Hot August Nights, so I replaced the hoses and fluid. I also replaced the bypass valve with one from a 70 or 71 (I think) Cutlass pump. You need to do this to raise the pump pressure. No trouble with it now, so I'll probably leave it alone for now. I was having trouble with the return hose leaking, but replacing the hose seems to have fixed it.
