I found out today when I unplug the power brake line and putting my finger in the hose which cause a noticeable drop in idle. So, my power booster is leaking somewhere. Anyways, is it wise to unhook the vacuum line to my power brake and drive around until I get manual brakes?

It won't cause any problems as long as you plug the vacum hole. You might also notice your leg pumping up after a few drives!! ;)

A power assisted car will work without theassist, but the pedal will feel really hard and take a lot of pressure to get the brakes to work. If you can find the correct pushrod, a new manual MC will only cost about $15.

Good luck,
Bill C.
