I'm just getting ready to start my motor after complete rebuild. I have followed all the tips for setting up the ignition prior to starting. Points set to .019, coil wired correctly, distrib placed correctly on #1 TDC etc. I have a brown wire left over and am not sure where this goes. It looks like it should go to the coil. Can someone help me out?

The brown wire goes to the (-) side of your coil.
